Our  College has tied up with Purdue University , USA, University of Massachusetts , Lowell , USA  for academic allainces .The college will work upon student exchanges , collaborative projects , collaborative researches and a wide array of Student activitites at the tie -up .This year a selected team of students are being sent to Purdue University for student visit . All those students who  are interested kindly contact  urgently to the undersigned

Dear Friends ,
I am gald to welcome you all to our ACM family and fraternity at the YCCE. We have a vision of transforming our CT/IT department as one of the best in the entire country . We share our vision with you , we want you to believe yourself and dreams .We want you all to take batons in your hand and grab any or every oppourtunity thrown at you. We urge you all to participate in improvement enhancement programmes , share among yourselves , try to update your colleagues with your knowledge and gain from his .
As there is a general concern surrounding the testing times we have are in owning to the global recession and IT image has taken a beating due to some reason. We would like you all to work a little harder to enhance yourself. I swear that the only hinderance in your path is “YOU” . Once you start believing yourself less than no other and begin to take initiatives , you will prosper with your fellows
So how to get started ?
Your technical competency is judged on various criteria
Your grades/Marks upto the minimum cut-off or so , (* Most elite companies such as IBM,MS, SUN have a minimum requirement of 70 % in all sem)
Your Co-curricular involements( Do this to enhance your skills , they will help you in getting better noticed at situations compared to others)
Co-curricular activities includes:
Paper Presentation (At conferences, Journals , Literary societies)
Research project , or research.
Research intern with a scientist or professor at elite institutes.
Articles in magazines of literary nature , or web journals , web reviews
Software review ,hardware review .
Industry project , industry intern, live projects , case studies , summer /winter internship

Your Extra-Curricular involvement(* same applies here to, The companies to give very little weightage to these but the experiences with these will help u crack the deal)

organising contest ,
Software user group involvement.
Social gatherings contests,
Involvements with NGOs
Involvement in govt projects /schemes

We are in process of building a resume bank for the ACM members so that it comes handy in deciding the offices considerations at the Chapter . Also it shall help us in identifying correct students for the company projects or case studies .

All the ACM members are requested to apply in earnest with their resume to the chapter email ID acm.ycce@gmail.com by 10 Jan , 2009. (All members including the Local and international members )

(Please refer to a standard resume template before making you resume, as the ill formated and incomplete ,poorly presented resumes shall not be considered while refering students for the case studies at companies , projects and training.Due information will be presented on the website before the final allotment of the students for such a program.)

STUDENTS ARE REQUESTED TO KINDLY VISIT THE CHAPTER WEBSITE AND NEWS SECTION ON REGULAR BASIS AS THE WEBSITE SHALL  BE THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF COMMUNICATION .IT IS THE RESPONSIBLITY OF THE MEMBERS OF AID THEMSELVES AND US BY KEEPING THEMSELVES INFORMED AND INTERACT HEALTHILY

We are coming up with LAN party to unleash and demonstrate the true potential of LAN prowess. There will be more than 1 TB of data to be shared . More to learn, install the OS on the virtual machines and try them for your self. Try to hook up your LAN and play the LAN games .Chat over LAN . All you guys and gals who have their won macines bring it on and we shall show you the way to share life .

The time and date shall be soon up on the site.

We would like to meet you all so that we can work and decide on the technical improvement program from ourselves and start immediatelty as the recession requires us to be more competent than our peers in previous batches .

We also look forward to suggestions indeciding the future course of our chapter in the college so that it proves beneficial to you  all

We are proud to announce that we have two contest at the YASH carnival .

The two contest will be in the field of programming and designing.

The programming contest aims at finding the best programmer in the regions , will basically comprise of testing the algorithmic skill quotient of the candidate. It shall be a team event . It will be most probably be based on the lines of international contest like Google code jam ,ICPC and programming contest across world.

The designing contest shall be based upon the graphic designing contest and shall aim at finding the best graphic designer of the region . This event shall consist of logo and theme design using the adobe or corel suites and finall the result will be decided on the basis of the entries submitted .This event too will be a team event .

Any and every idea in the making of the events and achieving the successful execution is invited from you all .
